“Since being introduced to America's Muslim Family Magazine, I have become an ardent reader of each edition. Each issue contains a wide array of well-written articles, and has material that appeals to all ages. I especially enjoy Iman Elkadi's insightful articles dealing with pertinent matters relating to Muslim families, along with her thoughtful and professional analysis as to how many widespread problematic issues can be productively resolved. I have used some of her suggestions in my own classes.

Congratulations on America’s Muslim Family Magazine. We have a real need for a magazine which focuses on the needs of the Muslim family in America. Immigrant parents are struggling with how to prepare their children to live as a faithful minority in a non Muslim society, and convert parents are struggling with how to raise children in a different faith than they were raised in. So far your selection of topics have been right on the mark. I would like to commend you especially for the regular “Matters of the Heart – Discussion about Muslim Family Life” by Iman Elkadi. We have some writings which contain scholarly theoretical discussions about good family life, other writings of what Islam says about family life, and still other writings which share personal experiences, but “Matters of the Heart” combines all three, along with helpful, realistic advice. It is important to know our goal, but even more important for many of us, is how do we get from where we are, to where we want to be.
The inclusion of a children’s magazine within the pages of America’s Muslim Family makes it truly a magazine for Muslim families. I commend you for the excellent quality of its content. The stories and activities are fun and manage to teach without being at all preachy.
